Youth Active Leadership Project

Our team of talented teens completed 6 exciting projects during 2007;
A youth carnival in the summer holidays
A Skate Comp in October 07
A dance celebration with Darnz Dance Group in December 07
A Fitness project to boost self esteem & well-being in teens
An Amazing Race charity fundraiser
Support at the annual "anti-violence" event

Participatory Video Project

We were also awarded funding from Save the Children to support a brand new project at The New Hub. Working with young people from our Global Education group, recreation programme and YALP project. The projects aim to give young people a chance to 'get their voices heard' as well as some media training and having fun in the process! The result was Squish.
